gUiLLeMoTs frontman and composer Fyfe Dangerfield is embarking out on tour in support of his first solo release Fly Yellow Moon. His musical direction features some songs that are stripped back and acoustic, and others which are more iridescent with feel-good beats and harmonies.
Following recent supports shows in the capital with Lissie, Lisa Mitchell, Kassidy, and Nada Surf, The Boy Who Trapped The Sun returns to London for a headline show at The Borderline.
The Boy Who Trapped The Sun is 25 year-old Colin MacLeod from the Isle of Lewis off the west coast of Scotland. ‘Fireplace’, the debut album, is released July 12th on Geffen. Beguiling, idiosyncratic alt-folk, Fireplace is full of strange, sometimes sinister stories, equally inspired by home, Hemingway, ghosts and vicious ex-girlfriends.
Debut single Katy released July 5th.
